I was excited about starting a new career and going back to school at Bates for the Civil Engineering/Land Surveying program. My excitement soon turned into extreme disappointment because our instructor stopped showing up to teach our class. There were about 20 students in the course and day after day we were essentially stuck trying to teach ourselves because our instructor was not there most of the time and then the instructor abruptly left the program altogether leaving us without any instructor at all for a long time.
I was so frustrated that we had essentially wasted a year of our lives in school because the instructor was not committed to the program. I went to Thad as one student and soon we had a case against Bates with 16 students. Thad worked extremely hard on the case and was well prepared in putting the case together. I personally witnessed Thad work on the case on weekends and nights to get it done. He kept me and the other students well informed throughout the process and allowed us to contribute in each step of the case. Thad walked away from several settlement offers made by Bates before settling for an amount that we felt good about. The staff members at Thad's office are awesome and are a joy to work with.
Not only did I find a great attorney, I also made a friend in Thad.
"Thad pursued our case just like it was a big case. When the case went to arbitration, we received a more than fair award from the judge, who was really impressed with the way that Thad presented the evidence in the case. The size of the case didn't matter to Thad. He only knows one way to pursue a case, and that is with everything he has."
